WHO ARE WE?

We focus on providing goods and services to battered women, orphaned children, people with disabilities and clients fighting chronic illnesses such as sickle cell or HIV-AIDS. Peaceful Home for Women shelters provide and support abused women and children. We also help free women from domestic violence. Violence or fear of violence is a vital obstacle to women’s ability to pursue matters that affect their daily lives.

This terrorism is not just felt by women, but also communities and children. We plan to deliver education for young girls that will make them understand how to prevent themselves from becoming victims of abuse. Our goal is to support women stabilize their income and advance their standard of living and be able to contribute positively to society growth. For example, we plan to offer small loans that can bring big changes to conquer poverty. The badly needed credit will help women start small businesses.

HOMELESS AND ORPHANAGE

children are also beneficiaries of our organization fundraising efforts and resources. Support so far has taken the form of providing clothe and toys. We also provide plan to education or tuition assistance as applicable. We believe children need to enjoy their childhood including leading a secure life. For our target community and client group a safe life is no longer guaranteed. Children are growing up in difficult circumstances; these rights are not easily applicable. Our plan is to be able to support street children who are considered the hardest to reach. This implies reaching the most marginalized children first as a priority. These children live and work on the street. They are more likely at risk of under age marriage, sexual abuse and trafficking. Children with disabilities are more likely to be stigmatized, abused, or neglected. Many children are pushed into streets life as a result of poverty. They are eventually sexually abused and experience violence. Girls usually end up as domestic servants, where sexual abuse is uncontrolled. We will support children by offering accommodation, food, finances and applicable school materials.

SCHOOLS
We try to improve the public schools system in the area especially ones located in the villages surrounding our immediate target communities. We plan to continue to support them by Providing school supplies, sports equipment to enhance both education and physical education. We will also make sure school environments are safe for both kids and teachers. We are committed to improve toilets and water systems to protect them from diseases. In order to improve their grades, we believe good lighting is important. Students can study more or do homework at night especially senior primary schoolers. They can do study groups at school since most don’t have electricity at their own homes. A practical electricity solution will be provided for the schools.

SICKLE CELLS/HIV
The organization also provides support to adults and children with Sickle cell and other incurable diseases in addition to reproductive health matters. Currently we ship vitamins to help children with sickle cells. We also support them financially when they are sick since the cost of health care is a challenge though it’s getting better recently.
